From web design to the specialist in travel marketing
Y-catcher! Travel Content Publisher is a Dutch family-run business with a passion for travel, online media and SEO. What started in 2006 as a web design agency grew into a leading travel publishing company. We now manage 35+ specialised travel websites and blogs, reaching 4 million unique travellers annually and generating nearly 10 million page views.
Our goal? To inspire travellers and help tourism companies increase their visibility. We believe in the power of SEO, strong content and a long-term approach. Whether it’s a destination, accommodation or travel product, we make sure the right target group is reached.
How it began
In the early years of the internet (1996), Jenny Luten, founder of Y-catcher!, discovered her passion for web design and SEO. Originally trained as a primary school teacher, she became fascinated by building websites and how some were found better in Google than others. At a time when no web design courses existed, she taught herself HTML and CSS and built her first websites entirely from scratch.
In 2006, Jenny founded Y-catcher! as a web design agency, but soon – actually by accident – an interest in online publishing and travel marketing grew. In 2011, she launched VakantieVoorTieners.nl, a niche travel website that quickly became a huge success. This was the starting point for expanding into several target group-focused travel websites, all with the same goal: helping travellers find the perfect vacation with valuable, highly findable content.
From 2020, our growth accelerated, partly due to the acquisition of eight major travel websites, including DichtbijOpVakantie.nl, Sneeuwsport.info and FrankrijkVakantieland.nl. In the following years, new strategic acquisitions followed, such as Travelrumors.com and KidsErOpUit.nl. We also added several smaller travel websites to our portfolio, which we continuously expand and optimize to increase their reach and impact.
Since then, Y-catcher! has grown into a stable and innovative family business with a team of experts in content, SEO and affiliate marketing.
What makes Y-catcher! really special is that we are a close-knit family business. Jenny, together with sons Melvin and Jesper, form the core of the company and we work together daily to grow and develop all travel platforms. Marcel (husband and father) supports in the background, while daughters-in-law Tessa and Inès regularly travel with us and also contribute to the content.
This family feeling is woven into everything we do: we work with commitment, flexibility and long-term vision. We invest not only in our websites, but also in personal relationships with our cooperation partners. For us, Y-catcher! is more than a company – it is a joint mission to inspire travellers and help companies grow with strong, sustainable travel marketing.

About us
Jenny Luten – Founder & Creative Brain of Y-catcher!
Jenny started Y-catcher! in 2006, but her passion for web design and SEO began long before that. Originally trained as a primary school teacher, she soon discovered her talent for building websites and creating strong, findable content. What started as a web design agency grew into an inspiring family business with a network of travel websites.
Within Y-catcher!, Jenny is the creative brain. She invents and develops new concepts and travel platforms, monitors the quality of content and deals with SEO and website optimisation. Her heart lies with Paris, where she travels at least four times a year for inspiration and to create content for ParijsalaCarte.nl. In addition, she regularly writes for DichtbijOpVakantie.nl and FrankrijkVakantieland.nl and enjoys working from the Dutch Veluwe, where she surrounds herself with nature and tranquillity.
In her spare time, Jenny enjoys reading and spending time with her dog, who plays an important role in her life. Whether she is travelling, hiking through the woods or working out new ideas, her passion for content and travel always remains central.

After graduating, he decided to fully focus on further developing the family business, in which he is now the day-to-day manager.
Melvin is the first point of contact for business partnerships and acts as a sparring partner for companies looking to increase their online visibility and reach. With his expertise in affiliate marketing, SEO and strategic content development, he helps tourism partners make the most of the power of online media.
His goal is to drive Y-catcher!’s continuous growth and further professionalization. In his spare time, he is an avid water polo player and enjoys traveling—both for leisure and for press trips and business engagements.

Jesper studied HBO Media & Entertainment Management and now works full-time at Y-catcher! as co-owner and content manager. He supports Melvin in day-to-day management and plays an important role in improving the quality of content on the various travel websites.
Jesper enjoys coming up with new concepts and strategies to further grow and optimise Y-catcher! He also regularly goes on press trips or individual trips by invitation, where he and his girlfriend Tessa gain travel experiences and record them in blogs and vlogs. His travel vlogs appear on the YouTube channel Vakantiegangers, through which he highlights destinations in an authentic way.
In his spare time, Jesper is a real Harry Potter fan and collects Funko Pops. He also plays water polo and regularly does odd jobs in his home.
